Designed to help newcomers to Jewish Asheville find their place, OJA’s Community High Holiday Pass allows you and your family to sample various High Holiday services for one low price in order to find the best fit.

Asheville Community High Holiday passes are now available at the JCC. The Community High Holiday pass enables individuals, or families, new to the Asheville Jewish community to attend as many High Holiday services as they wish, at whichever congregation they wish. This pass can be used by any individual or family – whether new to Asheville or established – who has not been a member of any Asheville Jewish Congregation for the past two years or more.

This special Community High Holiday pass includes a complete schedule of the holiday services for all three area congregations: Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation Beth HaTephila, and Chabad of WNC. Passes are available for a suggested donation of $100 for individuals, $150 for Couples, and $200 for a family up to four with each additional family member paying a suggested donation of just $25. Participation in any paid childcare program at the congregations is extra, and should be arranged by the pass holder ahead of time.

This pass may only be used between the first night of Rosh Hashanah and the last day of Sukkoth. Proceeds from the sale of the Community High Holiday Passes will go to each of the three participating congregations and the JCC.

The Community Holiday Pass is made possible through the efforts of the Asheville Jewish Leadership Collaborative. For more than three years, the AJLC has been bringing the leadership of Jewish Asheville together for the purposes of collaborative planning and community-wide growth.

For more information on the Community Holiday Pass please contact the Asheville Jewish Community Center at 828-253-0701. Together we are One Jewish Asheville – everything a community should be.
